The absent blogger has returned from moving.
Our quest to downsize was no easy task. Perhaps that’s why most people do it after they retire – just so they will have the time to do it. The process was twice what one would normally go through as our son purchased a home as well. Back-to-back weekends of moving, coupled with our son’s belongings having to be moved twice. Yes I know that sounds like poor planning, but title companies and real estate agents could make a smooth transition into a newsroom.
Now that the joy of unpacking and settling in is over, hopefully some normalcy will return and we can begin to get caught up.
The gallery for the June clip winners have been posted on the ONPA Website. The July clip contest results are in and posted as well.
Eric Albrecht and Chris Russell from The Columbus Dispatch each had three wins in July. Russell’s three wins were good for 132 points. Points leader Marshall Gorby had two wins and picked up 62 points so the race is getting a little tighter and far from over.
The winners gallery should be posted in a few days as the reminder notice to people went out last night.
