Curt Chandler, age 64, died on January 31, 2022 of pancreatic cancer. Chandler was an associate teaching professor in the Bellisario College of Communications at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, where he launched the college’s multimedia program.
Prior to entering the field of education Chandler spent 30 years working for a number of daily newspapers across the country. Eight of the those years were spent at The Plain Dealer in Cleveland where he consistently produced award winning work.
Chandler served as ONPA secretary from 1989 until 1994 when he became the Director of Photography at the Pittsburgh (PA) Post-Gazette.Former
