The schedule for this weekend’s ONPA seminar at the Columbus Airport Marriott is now set for those of you who always ask, who is speaking when?
The program will open Friday evening at 7 pm with a lighting seminar by Larry Hamel-Lambert from Ohio University. There will also be portfolio reviews by the faculty in the hospitality suite.
Saturday’s program begins at 9:30 am with an eye opener and welcome from Plain Dealer director of photography, Bill Gugliotta. That will be followed by a presentation by Regina McCombs from the Poynter Institute at 9:45 am. At 11 am still photographers will hear from Mona Reeder, senior staff photographer from The Dallas Morning News while television members are addressed by Shawn Montano from KWGN/KDVR, Denver.
Lunch will be on your own with a ONPA business meeting being held during the lunch break. The program will resume at 2 pm with presentations by Lynn Johnson, freelance photographer for still members and Jennifer Castor from KMGH-TV, Denver speaking to television members.
Awards will be presented after the speakers have concluded around 4 pm. For those staying for the evening, dinner is on your own. The hospitality suite will be open Saturday evening.
