"You know how long it's taken me to get this. ... It's a blessing." Mr. Walker and his wife, Sheila, struggled a long time to figure out how to get a new roof. They dreaded big rainstorms, which would often trigger multiple leaks inside their small yellow home on St. John Avenue. Mr. Walker got his new roof installed with aid of the Lucas County Veterans Service Commission in Toledo.
