The Boonshoft Museum is moving from its current smaller location in the mall to a much larger space vacated by the department store with space for much many more exhibits and hands on activities.

They were remembering Janusz Korczak, who headed an orphanage in Poland during World War II until he and his charges were killed in Treblinka. Korczak gave his children kites to distract them, saying, "A kite is a gift of the wind to a child."
