Laurel Valley Creamery, a dairy farm operated by the Nolan family, sits atop a hill on Laurel Road in Gallipolis. On the morning of November 23, 2015, smoke rises from a wood-firing boiler that heats the house and barns while the Nolan's cows graze in the surrounding fields.
