Ali Ghanbari wins 10th ONPA Televsion POY title

Ali Ghanbari from WJW-TV in Cleveland has won his fourth straight ONPA Television Photographer of the Year title and his tenth overall. In his career he has also won two Quarterly Clip POY titles.

Ghanbari placed in all but one category and captured first in general news, personality profile and 48 hours.

It was a competition dominated by WJW as photojournalists from Fox 8 in Cleveland captured four of the top five places in the Photographer of the Year competition.

Annette Lawless from WJW placed second and Kris Sproles from WDTN-TV in Dayton placed third. David Bradford and Billy Muhammed from WJW placed four and fifth. WJW was also named as Station of the Year for the second straight year.
