Plain Dealer photographer Gus Chan was named Best in Ohio in the 31st Annual Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards present by the Press Club of Cleveland. His co-worker Lisa DeJong placed 2nd – in the competition.
The awards to honor Ohio’s best newspapers, magazines, photographers, designers and writers were presented at the Marriott Downtown at Key Center in Cleveland last Friday.
