Contest chairman Matthew Pawuk has released the first quarter television contests results. Its too early in the year to zone in on who is on top, but one thing we can tell is that it looks to be a very competitive contest with nine different photographers placing in the contest. There is also a few new names on the winners list which is always good for competition.
Complete results can be found on the ONPA website. Winning videos can be viewed here.
Pawuk is asking photographers to enter the contest digitally now. Post your videos to YouTube and simply e-mail Pawuk the links. He will compile the links and forward to the judges. This should make the process easier for both entrants and judges. Those with questions should contact Pawuk.
First quarter judges from WCNC-TV in Charlotte were impressed with the quality of work in the first quarter. Keep up the good work and encourage any co-workers who did not enter the fist quarter to submit their entries next quarter. The deadline for the 2nd quarter is July 15th, and the story must be shot and aired before the end of the second quarter.
