General News - 1st place - Chantal Thoss is sentenced to eight years in prison, the maximum sentence, for shaking a 6-month old baby she was watching in 2014. The baby was treated for bleeding behind his eyes and fluid on his brain, and was hospitalized for eight days. Now 2, he does not speak, has seizers, and stares into space.
