General News - HM - Charlotte Rhea, of the East Side, gently maneuvers her hat out of a the car as she arrives during the 15th annual Les Chapeaux dans le Jardin, or "Hat Day," at Franklin Park Conservatory. Rhea called her hat "color explosion" and said it made her think of Mardi Gras. The annual spring fundraiser at the Conservatory brings together a few hundred guests in all sorts of hats imaginable to raise more than 3.3 million dollars over 15 years for the Conservatory's education programs.
